2nd Annual MO PBCC: Hosted by Overland Addict

The Missouri Polar Bear Camping Club event was an absolute blast! Thank you to Overland Addict from Nixa MO for putting on a great event. Corey with Blind Spot Adventures leading the BEST trail ride of all time. From intense off-road trails to near rollovers, brutal cold, and incredible campfire moments, this was one of the wildest Polar Bear adventures yet.

Trails That Tested Everyone

The off-road action was no joke. Deep ruts, and tricky technical sections pushed both drivers and rigs to their limits. A couple of vehicles almost tipped over, but thanks to some quick thinking (and maybe a little luck), everyone made it through safely.

The Infamous Lost Tire

One of the most unforgettable moments? Someone completely lost a tire on the trail. But in true overlander fashion, the entire crew jumped in to help get it back on the wheel. It was teamwork at its finest—just another reason why this community is so incredible.

Braving the Arctic Cold

If the trails didn’t challenge you, the temperatures definitely did. The bitter cold tested everyone’s gear and determination, but no one backed down. It’s called the Polar Bear Club for a reason! Whether it was layering up, huddling by the fire, or sipping something warm, everyone found a way to tough it out and enjoy the experience.

Food, Fire, and the Best Overland Rig

The food was top-notch, proving that just because we’re camping doesn’t mean we can’t eat like kings. And the campfires? Absolute lifesavers. There’s nothing quite like swapping stories around a roaring fire after a day of adventure.

One of the event highlights was the contest for Best Overland Rig. The competition was stacked, but in the end, the winner was well deserved. Seeing all the unique builds, creative setups, and impressive modifications was a reminder of how much passion and effort goes into this lifestyle.

Already Looking Forward to Next Year

This event had it all—intensity, teamwork, freezing cold, and incredible memories. If you missed it, you definitely won’t want to next time. And if you were there, well, you know just how epic it was.

See you on the trails next year!
